Our house is still standing after the devastating tornadoes that hit our region this week. It is heartbreaking to watch all the damage on the news, and we were very lucky it took the route that it did.
It has been
really crazy to keep up with everything at work and home for our family, that's why you have
not heard much from the Swedish American Mamma for a while. I have
worked very long hours, and JJ has been traveling for his work so there is no
rest when you get home. I have finally decided to cut down on my work hours and
was able to work out a great deal with my company as a consultant, so now I
have started my own little business. It is very exciting.
With that I
should have more time to spend with the blog and show you all the fantastic Scandinavian
stuff I come across.
In the middle of everything
JJ’s grandpa passed away at the age of 99. He has a long and happy life, and
the nice thing about funerals of people who have lived long lives is that you
get to see family that you otherwise would not have. Little L actually went to
visit him in his nursing home for his 99th birthday.
